Hawks trade Jeff Teague to Indiana

The Atlanta Hawks are sending guard Jeff Teague to the Indiana Pacers as part of a three-way deal.

What It Means:

This is the first draft-involved deal. Atlanta is getting back the Utah Jazz' No. 12 pick, and George Hill is going to the Jazz. The Pacers now get a guard who is more capable on the ball. Teague's role should be diminished next to Paul George, so his overall output won't be as attractive.

In Indiana, Teague should be the Pacers' starting point guard, but with Paul George being the focal point of the offense, he may not have the ball in his hands as much as he did in Atlanta.
