Klay Thompson scores 21; Warriors reach The Finals
Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson scored 21 points during a 96-88 Game 7 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, adding five rebounds, one steal, one block and six 3-pointers in 42 minutes.
Thompson was phenomenal in the three must-win games after Golden State went down 3-1 to start the series, scoring 27, 41 and 21 points while making 19 of his 38 3-point attempts.
He finished the regular season with a 6.0 nERD, good for 27th in the league, and is averaging 26.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in the playoffs, with a .561 Effective Field Goal Percentage.
