Andrew Bogut

Andrew Bogut scores 15 points with 14 boards, Warriors make it 3-2

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut was a huge part of Thursday's Game 5 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, scoring a postseason career-high 15 points with 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two turnovers in 30 minutes.

What It Means:

His increased minutes may have been the difference. Bogut played just 23 minutes combined in the last two games, but the Warriors went much bigger in this game. Bogut's presence around the rim on defense was a big part of limiting easy buckets for Oklahoma City while his passing and four offensive boards went a long way for the Warriors' offense. The Australian big man is probably going to be a bit sore after this one, but expect him to get some extended run again on Saturday. Head coach Steve Kerr gets a lot of credit for this rotation change.

Bogut finished the regular season ranking 38th with a 4.6 nERD. He's averaging 5.2 points and 6.7 rebounds with 1.5 block in 17.5 minutes per game in the playoffs.
