Kevin Love (knee) will play for Cleveland in Game 5
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (knee) is healthy enough to play in Game 5 against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.
Love hurt his knee after stepping on a referee's foot in Game 4 on Monday, but he isn't worried about his status for Game 5. "I think Kyrie [Irving] was shooting towards the end of the third quarter, and I stepped on the official's foot, and it didn't feel too great," said Love. "More so the knee [than the ankle hurting]. Will be sore tomorrow, but nothing that will prevent me from playing." While Love's performance in Toronto left something to be desired, he may be able to return to form with the series heading back to Cleveland on Wednesday.
Love is averaging 16.4 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in the postseason, but in the Eastern Conference Finals, he is averaging only 11.5 points and 5.0 rebounds with an Effective Field Goal Percentage of 43.6 percent.
