Luol Deng (left wrist) to have MRI Thursday, Heat expect him ready for Game 6
Miami Heat forward Luol Deng (left wrist) will have an MRI on Thursday.
Deng tripped over a photographer during Game 5 and injured himself while bracing his fall. "Right now we're just being smart," he said. "I have to know what it is. As long as it's nothing serious, I will be out there [for Game 6]." Josh Richardson and Gerald Green stand to gain the most playing time if Deng is forced to miss a potential elimination game on Friday.
Deng earned a top-50 nERD of 3.4 during the regular season. In the playoffs, he's averaging 14.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.0 3-pointers on a 61.9 True Shooting Percentage.
