Pelicans' Anthony Davis (knee) targeting training camp return
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis (knee surgery) is hoping to be ready when training camp begins.
Davis didn't discuss the specifics of his rehab, so it's hard to know whether training camp is a realistic timeline or just optimism on his part.
Davis averaged 24.3 points, a career-high 10.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in the regular season while shooting a career-low 50.8 Effective Field Goal Percentage. His 6.0 nERD ranked 27th in the NBA.
