Miami's Hassan Whiteside (knee) confirms he will play Thursday
Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside (knee) said he will play in Game 2 against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday.
Whiteside was a limited participant in shootaround on Thursday, but he plans to be on the court for Game 2 against the Raptors. "I wouldn't miss it for the world," Whiteside said after shootaround. He looks to be a safe DFS option for Thursday night.
He went down with a knee injury in the first half on Tuesday, but ended up returning to the game after taking a brief trip to the locker room. Whiteside is averaging 12.6 points, 12.1 rebounds and 3.1 blocks in 30.5 minutes per game this postseason. His 12.4 nERD ranked ninth in the league this year.
