Pacers' president Larry Bird wants more offense from his squad and has decided to move on from Vogel. While Vogel will have interest around the league -- with the New York Knicks reportedly seeking his services -- look for Bird's ex-teammate Kevin McHale to be linked to the Pacers' vacancy.

Vogel was always known as more of a defensive coach -- Indiana ranked third in defensive efficiency this season, according to our ratings -- and Indiana made the decision last offseason to implement a more up-tempo, offensive-minded approach. The Pacers went 45-37 this season, earning the No. 7 seed in an improved Eastern Conference. Vogel spent five-plus seasons in Indy and finishes with a 250-181 record. His tenure peaked with a 56-win season in 2013-'14, but the Pacers couldn't get past the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals.
