Warriors' Stephen Curry (knee) could scrimmage Thursday

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (knee) may be able to scrimmage with the team during Thursday's practice, said Warriors' coach Steve Kerr.

What It Means:

"Thursday, we will definitely get up and down, and hopefully he'll be able to take part, but we don't know yet," Kerr said. "I don't know how it'll play out here. It's not like if we're 2-2 or something we're not going to bring him back. We can't let the series score determine whether we bring him back, it's really based on his health and his rhythm." Curry is set to spend Tuesday's Game 2 on the sidelines, but the Dubs are holding out hope he can return for Saturday's Game 3. Kerr also said Curry's minutes will likely be limited upon his return, but he wouldn't put an exact figure on the potential minutes cap.

Curry's 26.3 nERD was easily tops during the regular season, as was his 30.1 points per game and 66.9 True Shooting Percentage. He's played just two games during the playoffs, averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 45.5 percent from the floor. Our models currently give the Warriors a 40.8 percent chance at winning the NBA championship, which is easily the highest odds.
