Warriors' Stephen Curry won't play in Game 2
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (knee) won't play in Game 2 on Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers, according to coach Steve Kerr.
The team will list him as doubtful "just to give people something to chew on," according to Kerr. The Warriors certainly didn't need him on Sunday in an easy win. They would probably like to hold him out for the entire series, but there is a chance he can suit up in Game 3 or 4. Shaun Livingston will get another start for Curry.
Livingston has filled in admirably for Curry in the playoffs, averaging 15.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game in the 4 games he's started. The Warriors are the favorites to win the NBA championship according to our projections, with a 39.3 percent chance.
