Spurs' Danny Green scores 18 points on seven shots in lopsided victory
San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green caught fire in a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, making 6-of-7 from the field for 18 points with four rebounds, one assist, one steal, three blocks and five 3-pointers in 26 minutes.
What It Means:
Green was in a slump basically the whole regular season, but he was a huge reason why the Spurs won the championship two years ago. If he can get hot, the Spurs are going to be even tougher to beat.
Green has been solid in the playoffs from behind the arc so far. He has made 11 of his 19 attempts, and his Effective Field Goal Percentage for the playoffs is 72.2 percent.
