Paul Millsap nets 17 points with eight boards in Atlanta win

Atlanta Hawks power forward Paul Millsap scored 17 points in a series-clinching win over the Boston Celtics on Thursday, adding eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and four blocks in 37 minutes.

What It Means:

It wasn't the best series for Millsap, but he put a stamp on this series with his defense. It'll be very interesting to see what happens in the series against the Cleveland Cavaliers because Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer will likely put him on LeBron James quite a bit.

Millsap's 50.5 Effective Field Goal Percentage this season was slightly below his career averaged. An all-around monster, he put up 17.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.7 blocks per night this year.
