Grizzlies' Zach Randolph shoots 3-of-13 in lopsided loss

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Zach Randolph had a rough night versus the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, making 3-of-13 field goals to finish with six points, five rebounds, three assists and three turnovers in 28 minutes.

What It Means:

The Grizzlies' offense was stuck in the mud against the league's best defense, and scoring will be a major obstacle to their upset bid in the first round. The Spurs were able to focus on Randolph with so few offensive weapons available for Memphis, and the big man's inability to get to the free throw line didn't help matters -- he's attempted just four freebies in his past five games.

Randolph's 47.9 Effective Field Goal Percentage is right in line with his career-average, while his 15.0 Total Rebounding Percentage is the lowest since the 2005-2006 campaign. He ranked 82nd with a -0.2 nERD on the year.
