Carl Landry (back) out for 76ers, Nerlens Noel starting
Philadelphia 76ers power forward Carl Landry (back) will not play against the New York Knicks on Friday, and power forward Nerlens Noel getting the start in his place.
Landry has been one of the most efficient starters in the NBA lately, making 17-of-20 from the field with four 3-pointers in his last two games. He could be out for the year. Noel should be effective tonight.
Landry ranks 54th with a 2.1 nERD while Noel ranks 99th with a -2.4 nERD. He is averaging 11.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. His 52.4 Effective Field Goal Percentage is well above his rookie year clip of 46.2 percent. Our models project him to finish with 10.9 points, 7.9 boards, 1.7 steals and 1.6 blocks tonight against the Knicks.
