Nerlens Noel doubtful for Sixers' matchup with New Orleans
Philadelphia 76ers forward/center Nerlens Noel (knee) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to 76ers' coach Brett Brown.
Noel is optimistic about his chances to suit up against the Pelicans, but Brown guessed Noel will miss Tuesday's game. While Noel could potentially play, we're likely looking at another game of increased usage from Carl Landry and Jerami Grant.
Noel ranks 97th with a -2.4 nERD. He is averaging 11.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. His 52.5 Effective Field Goal Percentage is well above his rookie year clip of 46.2 percent.
