Washington Wizards sign J.J. Hickson
Forward/center J.J. Hickson has signed with the Washington Wizards.
Hickson has been in advanced discussions to sign with the Wizards since he was released by the Denver Nuggets, and those discussions have finally come to fruition. Hickson will help provide the Wizards with frontcourt depth, but he doesn't hold much fantasy value beyond deeper leagues as long as Markieff Morris, Nene Hilario and Marcin Gortat are healthy.
Hickson is logging just 15.3 minutes per game, the least since his rookie season, while appearing in 20 contests. He's averaging 6.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game on a 50.5 Effective Field Goal Percentage, which is on par with his career average. Hickson ranks 82nd with a -0.3 nERD.
