Heat's Hassan Whiteside set to be a game-time decision
Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside (left ankle) is a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Whiteside was able to practice on Tuesday, and Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said he was encouraged by how the big man looked. It appears as if Whiteside will return to the starting lineup, if he's able to play.
Whiteside checks in 17th with an 8.2 nERD in 42 games played. He is averaging 12.2 points, 11.1 rebounds and a league-high 3.9 blocks per game while recording the league's third-highest Effective Field Goal Percentage. His Total Rebound Percentage is also third in the league while his Block Percentage is first.
