Hawks' Tiago Splitter getting a second opinion on hip
Atlanta Hawks center Tiago Splitter (hip) is getting a second opinion on his right hip.
What It Means:
He is out through the break and he could be out for multiple weeks. Splitter can be left on the wire in just about all leagues. There will continue to be more minutes for Mike Scott and Mike Muscala.
In his sixth season, first with Atlanta, Splitter's 52.3 Effective Field Goal Percentage ties a career low. He is averaging 5.6 points and 3.6 boards while posting a 1.8 nERD, which ranks 55th.
