Deron Williams (hip bruise) will play Friday for Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks point guard Deron Williams (right hip contusion) will play versus the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
Williams hurt himself on Monday but only missed one game, a good sign for fantasy owners given his lengthy injury history. With Devin Harris (toe) doubtful to return prior to the All-Star break, there should still be extra minutes for backup guards J.J. Barea and Raymond Felton.
Williams sits 93rd with a -2.0 nERD. He is averaging 13.9 points, 3.0 boards, 5.3 assists and 1.4 3-pointers per game. He owns a 47.3 Effective Field Goal Percentage through 43 contests this year. Our models project him to put up 13.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.4 3-pointers tonight against the Spurs.
