Suns' Ronnie Price (toe) out for the next three weeks

Phoenix Suns guard Ronnie Price (toe) will undergo surgery on a bone chip in his right big toe on Friday, and he is expected to miss at least the next three weeks of action.

What It Means:

Price had been playing very well for Phoenix since the Eric Bledsoe (knee) injury, but now he'll add his name to the injury report for the next three weeks. Brandon Knight is going to be forced into major minutes as the only true point guard on the roster, with Archie Goodwin and Lorenzo Brown having the opportunity for some extended run off the bench. Devin Booker will continue to start in Price's place.

In his one start this season, Price put up nine points, two boards, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes of action. He shot 42.9 percent in that contest compared to 37.9 percent in his other 33 games this year. His -0.2 nERD ranks 82nd.
