Wizards acquire Davis Bertans in three-team trade on Saturday
The Washington Wizards have acquired forward Davis Bertans on Saturday.
What It Means:
Bertans will be headed to Washington after the Spurs needed to unload salary to allow them to sign forward DeMarre Carroll. In this trade, the Wizards will acquire Bertans, the Nets will acquire Aaron White and rights to Nemanja Dangublic, and the Spurs will get Carroll.
In 76 games last season, Bertans averaged 8.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Expect Bertans to play off the bench in 2019-2020.
