Jamal Murray, Nuggets agree to 5-year, $170 million extension
The Denver Nuggets and shooting guard Jamal Murray have agreed to a 5-year, $170 million maximum contract extension, agent Mike George of OneLegacy tells The Athletic.
The Nuggets were expected to lock up their 22-year-old guard after the best campaign of his career, so this doesn't come as any surprise. Next season will be his fourth in the league.
Murray averaged 18.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 0.9 steals, and 2.0 triples in 75 games for the Nuggets last season.
