Report: Kevin Durant (calf) ruled out Game 1 for Warriors, 'unlikely' plays Game 2
Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant (calf) will not play on Tuesday in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers, reports Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.
Durant will have his strained right calf re-evaluated on Thursday, per Shelburne, making it "unlikely" he plays in Game 2 that evening. Game 1 will be his second consecutive absence due to the injury.
KD was averaging 34.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 2.9 triples per game this postseason before the injury.
