Nikola Jokic nets 37 points as Nuggets take Game 1
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic scored 37 points (11-of-18 field goals, 12-of-12 free throws) with 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 3 3-pointers, and 2 turnovers in 41.5 minutes of a 121-113 Game 1 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
The assists are actually a playoff low for Jokic, but that was the least of concerns, as Portland had no answers defensively. He's scored at least 37 points in two of the last three games. Game 2 will be played in Denver on Wednesday.
Jokic finished with 69.8 FanDuel points in Game 1.
