Nikola Jokic triple-doubles, Nuggets knock out Spurs in Game 7
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic scored 21 points (9-of-26 field goals, 3-of-4 free throws) with 15 rebounds, 10 assists, 1 steal, and 3 blocks in 43.5 minutes of a 90-86 Game 7 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
Jokic recorded the first triple-double in a Game 7 since LeBron James in the 2016 NBA Finals. It's his second triple-double through seven career playoff games, in which he averaged 23.1 points, 12.1 rebounds, 9.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.4 triples. The Nuggets are set to square off with the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round. Game 1 will be played in Denver on Monday.
