Warriors' DeMarcus Cousins reportedly diagnosed with torn left quad

Golden State Warriors forward/center DeMarcus Cousins has been diagnosed with a torn left quad, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.

What It Means:

Cousins suffered the injury in the first quarter of Monday's Game 2 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. He's not expected to require surgery, but it's likely a season-ender. The Warriors will see how Cousins responds after the first two weeks of rehab. Kevon Looney and Andrew Bogut figure to see more run in the meantime and Draymond Green will likely take on more minutes at the five.

Boogie averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.5 blocks, and 0.9 3-pointers in 30 games for the Warriors during the regular season.
