Jeff Teague (foot) slated to sit for Timberwolves rest of year

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague (left foot) is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season.

What It Means:

Teague sat out the past four games after re-aggravating a foot injury he initially suffered in December. The 30-year-old veteran received a shot for inflammation and will be in a boot before being re-examined in three weeks. Derrick Rose (elbow) is also likely to remain out, which sets up Tyus Jones as the starter for the rest of the year.

Teague averaged 29.5 FanDuel points over 42 games this season, with 12.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, 8.2 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.8 triples per contest.
