James Harden erupts for 57 points in Rockets' overtime loss
Houston Rockets guard/forward James Harden scored 57 points (18-of-39 field goals, 12-of-12 free throws) with 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, 9 3-pointers, and 3 turnovers in 45.6 minutes of a 126-125 overtime loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
Harden dropped 57 points for the second straight game against the Grizzlies and averaged an absurd 47.3 points in their four-game season series. That's the most Harden has averaged against any team he played twice this season. His five-game double-digit assist streak ended, but he came just a triple shy of his season-high. The Rockets host the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
Harden finished with 86.4 FanDuel points in the loss, his fifth-highest output of the season. He's averaging 59.1 FanDuel points per game overall.
