Nikola Jokic sinks game-winner to lift Nuggets past Mavericks
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic scored 11 points (4-of-9 field goals, 3-of-4 free throws) with 14 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 block, and 2 turnovers in 30.0 minutes of a 100-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
Jokic finished with his lowest points total since late December and didn't even make a field goal until the fourth quarter, but the big man did hit his first career game-winning shot at the buzzer. The rebounds equaled Jokic's total from his previous two contests. Denver hosts the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.
