Joel Embiid (knee) will remain out for 76ers versus Rockets
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (sore left knee) will not play versus the Houston Rockets on Friday.
76ers head coach Brett Brown previously said the team's top priority is for Embiid to be healthy for the playoffs, so this isn't a surprise. The big man hasn't played since the All-Star break. Amir Johnson and Jonah Bolden will continue to split Embiid's minutes, while Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler, and Tobias Harris will help fill the usage void.
Embiid is averaging 52.7 FanDuel points through 54 games this season. numberFire's models expect him to record 23.9 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.6 steals, and 2.1 blocks per contest over the remainder of the year.
