Derrick White (foot) expected to be on Spurs' sidelines until break
San Antonio Spurs point guard Derrick White (plantar fasciitis) is not expected to return before the All-Star break.
White sat out Monday's game and this timeline would keep him shelved for at least four more. The Spurs' first game after the break is on February 22 against the Toronto Raptors. The 24-year-old missed the first nine games of the season with a similar issue in his left foot. Patty Mills, Bryn Forbes, Marco Belinelli, and Davis Bertans all stand to see more minutes while White is out.
White is averaging 22.2 FanDuel points through 45 games (33 starts) this season, with 9.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 0.7 triples per contest.
