Frank Ntilikina (sore groin) ruled out for Knicks Monday
New York Knicks point guard Frank Ntilikina (sore groin) will not play on Monday versus the Charlotte Hornets.
Ntilikina made an early exit from Sunday's loss to the Miami Heat and didn't travel with the team for their matchup in Charlotte. It puts Trey Burke in line for a start and should mean a boost for Allonzo Trier. Kadeem Allen was also recalled from the NBA's G League to provide backcourt depth.
Ntilikina is averaging 14.5 FanDuel points through 41 games (16 starts) this season, with 5.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.8 triples per contest.
