Deandre Ayton (ankle) expected to sit for Suns again Thursday
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (ankle) has a "slim chance" to play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, head coach Igor Kokoskov said.
It will be a third consecutive absence for Ayton. Consider him questionable for the second half of the back-to-back set on Friday against the Denver Nuggets. If Richaun Holmes (foot, questionable) joins Ayton on the sidelines again, Dragan Bender will be in line for another start.
Ayton is averaging 35.7 FanDuel points through 47 games, with 16.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.0 blocks per contest.
