Kyrie Irving (illness) will not play for Celtics Wednesday versus Cavaliers
Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving will not play against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday due to the flu.
Irving's absence will likely open up a start for Terry Rozier. Al Horford (rest) is also out, so there should be more opportunity on offense for the likes of Marcus Morris, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum. The Celtics' next game is on Saturday against the Golden State Warriors, so Kyrie should have enough time to get right for that home matchup.
Kyrie is averaging 43.4 FanDuel points through 42 games. numberFire's models expect him to record 24.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.3 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 1.6 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
