Kawhi Leonard will rest for Toronto Thursday
Toronto Raptors guard/forward Kawhi Leonard (rest) will not play on Thursday versus the Phoenix Suns.
It's the second half of a back-to-back and the Suns are 11-34, so this isn't much of a surprise. Leonard hasn't played in a full back-to-back set this season. OG Anunoby (personal) has also been ruled out and C.J. Miles is dealing with a hip issue, so Norman Powell may be asked to do a lot for Toronto in the home matchup. Leonard scored 33 points (10-of-19 field goals, 11-of-11 free throws) with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 2 3-pointers in 36.4 minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Boston Celtics.
Kawhi is averaging 47.2 FanDuel points through 36 games this season. numberFire's models expect him to record 27.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 1.9 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
