Detroit Pistons shooting guard Luke Kennard scored a career-high 28 points (11-of-18 field goals, 5-of-8 3-pointers, 1-of-2 free throws) with 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 turnovers in 36.7 minutes of a 116-102 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
The minutes were also a new career-high, as Kennard thrived in his second start of the season. His previous respective season-highs were 8 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 triple. The second-year man may be due for more minutes moving forward. Detroit visits the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.
