New Orleans Pelicans guard Elfrid Payton was forced to leave Friday's game early with a fractured finger.
What It Means:
Terrible news for Payton and the Pelicans as the guard was just returning from a nine-game absence on Friday. No word on how long he is expected to be out but a broken finger will likely cost him multiple weeks.
Payton finished with 0-for-3 from the field with 1 rebound and 1 steal for 3.2 Fanduel points in 8 minutes on Friday.
