Rajon Rondo fractures hand in Lakers' win, expected to miss 3-5 weeks
Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo is expected to miss the next 3-5 weeks of action with a fractured third metacarpal in his right hand.
Rondo should have a more concise timetable after he meets with a specialist on Thursday. He suffered the injury during Wednesday's 126-117 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Lonzo Ball figures to be the primary beneficiary and Lance Stephenson is also in line for a boost while Rondo is out.
Rondo is averaging 24.6 FanDuel points through 11 games this season, with 8.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 3-pointers per contest.
