Warriors' Stephen Curry feels like better player now
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry said he feels like a "better player" than he was last season.
"I definitely feel like I’m a better player than I was last year, more efficient," Curry stated. "We, as a team, are definitely better than we were last year." There's really no room for debate here. Curry has been the clear frontrunner to win the MVP Award once again as he's been the best player in real life and in fantasy. He and his team lack any true peers or competition at this point in the season.
Curry is averaging an absurd 31.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 2.6 steals and 5.0 3-pointers on 51.5 percent shooting. His 31.1 nERD is tops in the league by a healthy margin (Kawhi Leonard is second with a 20.4 mark). While our models expect Curry's scoring to regress a bit, we still project him to finish the season as the best player in fantasy.
