C.J. McCollum scores season-high 40, Trail Blazers beat Bucks
Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum scored 40 points (17-of-26 field goals, 5-of-10 3-pointers, 1-of-2 free throws) with 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, and 2 turnovers in 35.9 minutes of a 118-103 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
The points, assists, and steals are all season-highs. McCollum has now scored 30-plus in two of the past three games after a relatively slow start to the season that may have been due to a virus. The Trail Blazers host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.
McCollum scored a season-high 65.0 FanDuel points on Tuesday, more than double his average of 31.1 FanDuel points per game.
