Steph Curry scores 24 points, Warriors improve to 16-0
Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry led the way with 24 points as the Warriors set an NBA record by becoming the first team to start the season 16-0 with a dominant win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Warriors look unstoppable at the moment, and they are showing no signs of slowing down. Curry has been the clear frontrunner to win the MVP Award once again as he's been the best player in real life and in fantasy.
Curry added nine assists, four boards, two steals and four 3-pointers in the win. His per-game averages are up to an insane 32.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 2.6 steals and 4.9 3-pointers. His previous career-high for points per game is 24.0. Curry is hitting 51 percent of his shots, including 41 percent of his 3-pointers. He's running laps around the rest of the league with a 30.4 nERD that's miles ahead of second-place Russell Westbrook's mark of 20.9.
