Mavericks' Harrison Barnes hopeful to play Saturday
Dallas Mavericks forward Harrison Barnes (strained right hamstring) is hopeful that he will be able to play on Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
What It Means:
Barnes will not play in Wednesday's season opener but coach Rick Carlisle said he is "making good solid progress with no setbacks that I'm aware of." The coach added that Barnes will try to practice on Friday.
