Alan Williams (ankle) ruled out for Nets' season opener on Wednesday
Brooklyn Nets forward Alan Williams (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's season opener versus the Detroit Pistons.
Williams has been hampered with a sprained ankle throughout the preseason, and it appears it will cost him some regular season games as well. Big Sauce is on a two-way contract was not expected to see much action this season behind Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Ed Davis at power forward this season.
Williams played in just 5 games with the Phoenix Suns last season, averaging just 2.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 14.0 minutes per game.
