NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 4/12/16

Paul George has a great matchup against the Knicks as Indiana looks to stay in seventh in the East. What other high-priced fantasy option should you target tonight?

While building a daily fantasy lineup, it's hugely important to make sure you find the right studs to anchor your team. As the most expensive players in your lineup, they need big-time production to match.

You may find it hard to fit some of these guys in while staying under the salary cap, but you can check out our projections to find value players for your rosters.

It's important to note that, with only a few days left in the regular season, you have to be vigilant about making sure they guys you're playing today aren't being rested.

Options are limited tonight, with it being a short slate and only four teams (Miami, Detroit, Indiana and Memphis) having anything left to play for, but there are still some strong fantasy options.

Paul George, SF, Indiana Pacers

FanDuel Price: $8,300

Paul George isn't expected to rest tonight as the Pacers host the New York Knicks.

George has been producing very well over the last month, averaging 21.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.1 steals, good for 37.4 FanDuel points per game. He has also posted a 30.0 percent Usage Rate in that span.

The Knicks will be shorthanded tonight, with Kristaps Porzingis and Jose Calderon already ruled out, and with Carmelo Anthony questionable and having no real reason to play.

New York is a team that already really struggles, ranking 19th in Defensive Rating and allowing above-average fantasy scoring to opponents at both forward positions. Missing starters will only make that worse. Check the news closer to lineup lock to make sure that George is still expected to play, but if he is, then he should have no trouble putting up huge numbers against a lineup of Knicks backups.

Andre Drummond, C, Detroit Pistons

FanDuel Price: $7,700

Andre Drummond doesn't exactly have an easy matchup against the Miami Heat, but he's an excellent fantasy producer and has a chance to see big minutes as the Pistons make a push to move into seventh in the East and avoid Cleveland in the first round of the playoffs.

Drummond has been the league's best rebounder this season, not only leading the league with 14.8 rebounds per game but also with a 24.4 percent Total Rebound Rate.

He's averaging 35.2 FanDuel points per game over the past month, with 14.9 points, 13.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 31.2 minutes per game, and even in a tough matchup, his elite rebounding gives him major upside.
