Daily Fantasy Basketball Injuries and Updates for 4/7/16

Find the best value for your daily fantasy roster by knowing the latest injuries and updates.

In daily fantasy basketball, every edge matters.

One of the easiest ways to find an edge is to understand what happens to a team when injuries occur. Who stands to benefit? Who might struggle as a result? That's all vital information during the lineup-building process.

What should you know about tonight's slate of games? Let's break it down.

As always, you should make sure to double-check our NBA Player News page before finalizing your lineup.

The Definites

The Golden State Warriors are attempting to break the single-season wins record of 72 games, and star point guard Stephen Curry came out and said they are going to embrace the challenge. Golden State takes on San Antonio tonight in what should be a great game.

Taj Gibson is doubtful tonight with cracked ribs, and coach Fred Hoiberg doesn't expect him to play tonight which is as close to definitely out as you can get.

With Gibson out, Nikola Mirotic will fill in and has the most upside for the Bulls in his absence. Mirotic is a roller coaster of a fantasy player. In his last seven games he has three games below 12 fantasy points and three games over 36 fantasy points.

The To-Be-Determined List

Hassan Whiteside is going to be a game-time decision tonight for the Heat. If he doesn't suit up tonight, the biggest beneficiaries will be Amar'e Stoudemire and Luol Deng. Miami tends to go with a smaller lineup with Whiteside out, so Deng become an interesting option. He racked up 30 points and 10 rebounds last time he was out, but Dwyane Wade was also out that game.

Jon Leuer is a game-time decision tonight as well. Leuer's status most closely affects Mirza Teletovic and Alex Len. Teletovic and Len each play more minutes with Leuer out.

Teletovic has been at least five times his cost (five points per $1,000 in salary) in seven of his last eight games. At just $5,100, he becomes a very strong option tonight.

The Kings' lineup needs to be monitored as well. Sacramento has been all over the place with their lineups recently, and it shouldn't be a surprise if anyone sits for them.
