Daily Fantasy Basketball Injuries and Updates for 3/21/16

Find the best value for your daily fantasy roster by knowing the latest injuries and updates.

In daily fantasy basketball, every edge matters.

One of the easiest ways to find an edge is to understand what happens to a team when injuries occur. Who stands to benefit? Who might struggle as a result? That's all vital information during the lineup-building process.

What should you know about tonight's slate of games? Let's break it down.

As always, you should make sure to double-check our NBA Player News page before finalizing your lineup.

The Definites

Kenneth Faried has been ruled out for tonight in advance. The biggest beneficiary is Darrell Arthur. The Nuggets were a part of a blowout game on Thursday, which limited Arthur's production, but in a closer game on Saturday, he played 35 minutes and scored 34 fantasy points. He is priced at just $3,700, so he has a good chance to exceed his price tag. He does face the Cavaliers, which is a little scary as there is a potential for another blowout. But if Denver can keep it relatively close, Arthur could be a great option for you to save some money on.

The To-Be-Determined List

Kevin Love missed shootaround this morning for the Cavaliers due to illness. If he sits out, Channing Frye, LeBron James, and Kyrie Irving will all benefit. Frye will benefit by seeing an increase in minutes and costs only $3,600 on FanDuel. James and Irving benefit because there are more shots to go around. James sees an increase of 12% in Usage Rate and Irving's Usage Rate increases by about 17%, per NBAWowy.com.

Pau Gasol is a game-time decision for Monday. Gasol has missed a good amount of time recently, and Taj Gibson and Bobby Portis have benefited in his absence. If Gasol is back, all three are risky plays because it is unclear how much Gasol will actually play. If he sits out again, Gibson and Portis will be interesting options again.
