NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Wednesday 11/25/15

Anthony Davis is healthy once again, which means it's time to fire him up in daily fantasy tonight.

If you've never played daily fantasy basketball before, it's time to start. Unlike traditional leagues, you're able to select the players you want on that specific day only, giving you a different squad to root for each and every NBA night.

Today's lineups can be found here. The information below is to help you understand why particular players are being picked, because we don't want you going into the night completely blind. We want to help you. Keep in mind, however, that things often change up until tip-off, so make sure you're refreshing the optimal lineups as close to the start of games as possible.

Let's get to it.

The Best of the Best

Anthony Davis - Davis has been in-and-out of the Pelicans' lineup this year due to an assortment of injuries, but he has been nothing short of spectacular when on the court. The Brow is averaging 23.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 2 assists and 1.1 steals with a 30.6% Usage Rate on the season. He's averaging 26 points, 18.5 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 assists over his last two outings and played a whopping 39 minutes in each of those two games. Davis draws a plus matchup against a Suns frontcourt that has allowed the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards over their last seven and should see all the minutes he can handle in a game that Vegas expects to be the highest scoring on tonight's slate with a massive 211.5 over/under. The Pelicans' star is our top overall projected player on the board tonight.

Andre Drummond - With Greg Monroe now in Milwaukee, Drummond has been forced to carry the load for the Pistons' front court, and boy, has he delivered. The Pistons' fourth-year center is scoring 18.1 points to go along with a completely absurd 17.6 rebounds per game this season. He has earned a double-double in all but one game this season and has recorded double-digit rebounds in every single game this year. Although he will have his hands full in a matchup against Hassan Whiteside, the Heat have given up the seventh most fantasy points per game to opposing centers over their last seven games. Look for the Pistons' big man to add another double-double to his resume in what should be a very close game in Detroit.

Top Mid-Range Values

Tristan Thompson - Timofey Mozgov will remain sidelined for tonight's matchup against Toronto, which means Thompson will draw his third consecutive start. In two starts this season, the Cavaliers' big man is has put up 9 points with 15 rebounds and 3 assists per game in a whopping 37.3 minutes per game. He's averaging 10.6 points and 13.7 on a per-36 minute basis this season and should see another massive workload tonight against the banged-up Raptors' frontcourt. At just $5,700 on FanDuel and $5,800 on DraftKings, Thompson is dollar-for-dollar one of my favorite plays on the board tonight.

Rajon Rondo - The Kings will likely be without their all-world center DeMarcus Cousins tonight, which means Rondo will once again be forced to carry the load for the Kings' offense tonight. Rondo has been scorching hot over his last nine games, nearly averaging a triple-double over that span. In those nine games, he's scored 13.2 points to go along with 9.1 rebounds and a ridiculous 14.1 assists in a whopping 42.7 minutes per game. He's accumulated four triple-doubles with two other double-doubles over that span and has grabbed at least six rebounds and recorded at least nine assists in each of those nine games. Although is price is climbing, Rondo can still be had at a reasonable price across the industry given his production and makes a very strong play in all formats tonight.

Basement Ballers

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson - The Nets' rookie will likely draw another start at small forward tonight. In his 9 starts this season he has averaged 5.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game. He has also contributed 8.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.6 steals on a per-36 minute basis this season. Hollis-Jefferson should push for close to 30 minutes tonight and should have plenty of opportunity to accumulate fantasy points in what Vegas anticipates to be one of the highest scoring games on tonight's slate. He makes a strong value play at just $4,100 on FanDuel and $4,000 on DraftKings.

Thabo Sefolosha - Sefolosha drew his second start of the season last night and did a little bit of everything for the Hawks, scoring 15 points with 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks. He is averaging 14 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1.5 blocks in 27.9 minutes per game in his two starts this season and should see a similar workload tonight with Kent Bazemore not expected to return to Atlanta's lineup. The veteran wingman still costs just $3,900 on FanDuel and $4,200 on DraftKings and should have little trouble eclipsing value in a great matchup against the Timberwolves.
