Yesterday's Perfect NBA DFS Lineups: Sunday 4/19/15
As I'm sure you all know, the NBA playoffs kicked off this weekend. Despite the fact that we won't see anything larger than a four-game slate for the remainder of the season, what's nice about daily fantasy hoops during the playoffs is that minutes become more predictable and the stars tend to shine brightest on the biggest stage. Both of those statements held true in the Clippers' victory over the Spurs yesterday.
Despite solid performances from both Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili who combined for 28 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 seals, Los Angeles' All-Star combination of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul was simply too much for San Antonio to overcome last night. Griffin was virtually unstoppable in the post, scoring 26 points with 12 board, 6 dimes, 3 steals and 3 blocks, while posterizing poor Aron Baynes on two separate occasions. Meanwhile, Paul posted an equally impressive line, pouring in 32 points with 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals to help boost the Clippers to an early lead in their first round series with the Spurs.
While it was the stars who reigned supreme in Los Angeles, the Grizzlies turned to an unexpected source for much of their production. Although Marc Gasol was incredible last night, dropping 15 points with 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 blocks on the Blazers, it was Beno Udrih who really made the difference for Memphis last night. Udrih scored 20 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 7 assists in just 24 minutes as Memphis asserted their dominance over Portland in Game 1.
