Yesterday's Perfect NBA DFS Lineups: Wednesday 4/8/15
With all three MVP candidates on the slate posting below-average performances last night, it was up to a few less-heralded players to step up and provide value.
Zach Randolph had been struggling a bit as of late, but he broke out of that slump in a big way last night. Z-Bo looked great on both ends of the floor against Anthony Davis and the Pelicans, scoring 15 points while grabbing 13 boards to go along with 6 assists and 2 boards in Memphis' beat down of New Orleans. Similarly, Kenneth Faried leveraged a matchup with the Lakers to bust out of his own slump. The Manimal looked great in transition and dominated the glass, pouring in 29 points with 11 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks as Denver blew out Los Angeles.
Unlike Z-Bo and the Manimal who dominated in the paint, Kyrie Irving, Jeff Teague and Isaiah Thomas did their damage on the perimeter. Irving came up clutch in a hard fought win against the Bucks, scoring 27 points with 9 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals while Teague picked up the slack of his injured big man -- Paul Millsap -- by posting an impressive double-double with 15 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Although he did not distribute the ball quite as effectively as Irving or Teague, Thomas scored at will against the Pistons, dropping 34 points with 6 assists and three rebounds in a win at the Palace.
