NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 3/2/19

With Paul George expected to sit, Russell Westbrook is in line for a massive workload tonight. Who else should you roster?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 7:00 p.m. EST and features eight games.

Best of the Best

Russell Westbrook ($11,700): While Westbrook has shared the spotlight with Paul George recently, Russ is still averaging an insane 1.64 fantasy points per minute over the last month, and he has posted a 33.7% usage rate this season. And tonight we don't have to worry about PG13, who is out for the matchup with the San Antonio Spurs. That makes Westbrook a lock-and-load play at $11,700. The Oklahoma City Thunder are currently 4.0-point underdogs on the road and have a 109.75-point implied team total. Proceed with confidence.
